" Life is the more you look the less you see; therefore try to see far before you conclude". Meaning 1: You need to be patient,observant, curious, humble and enduring to face the challenges of life. Meaning 2: Where you cannot see far , you cannot go far.Insight into issues concerning your life is very important. Guidance from more experienced people cannot be overemphasised in order to succeed.

Since well before Nigeria’s return to elective governance in 1999, the country has been overtaken by a progressive escalation of what Hannah Arendt in her classic On Violence called “a massive intrusion of criminal violence into politics”. In contemporary Nigerianism, the word for this is “banditry”. “Bandits” is a conveniently capacious bogeyman for insecurity in Nigeria that precludes necessary questions as to the provenance of the descent into lawlessness.
